1. Acceptance and scope
By downloading, accessing, purchasing through, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. The iOS app is also licensed under Apple's Standard End User License Agreement. These Terms supplement that agreement and control only where they do not conflict with it or with rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
2. The nature of the experience
Jesus Christ: The Second Coming is a disclosed AI-generated historical, literary, educational, and spiritual reflection experience. Its responses are informed by textual witnesses, historical context, and later interpretation. It is not the actual Jesus Christ, an authentic recording, revelation, prophecy, a supernatural channel, or a substitute for Scripture, prayer, clergy, community, or personal conscience.
The voice, portrait, light, and speaking character are artistic elements. They do not claim to reproduce the historical person's actual voice or appearance. Gospel sources, historical context, and later interpretation must not be treated as the same kind of evidence.
3. Eligibility and safety
The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms. The service is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, crisis care, medical, legal, or financial advice. It must not be used to make high-stakes decisions or as certainty about divine intent, private facts, or future events. If anyone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services and a trusted real person now.
4. AI limitations
Generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, anachronistic, offensive, repetitive, or inappropriate. They may misidentify a source or present an interpretation too confidently. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on, sharing, or acting on them. Never present generated output as verified divine revelation, an authentic historical quotation, or professional advice.
5. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for protecting sign-in codes and access to your device, and for activity performed through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe the account has been accessed without permission. We may limit or suspend access to protect users, the service, or third parties while a security or abuse concern is reviewed.
6. Paid minutes and Apple purchases
The app may offer consumable connected minutes through Apple In-App Purchase. A connected minute or part of a minute may consume one minute, including silence while the room remains connected. Apple shows the approved local price before purchase and processes the payment. Purchased minutes are credited only after server verification; the app cannot grant itself time. Test and production balances are separate.
Verified transaction records help prevent duplicate delivery and recover a balance after an interrupted purchase. If Apple confirms a purchase but the minutes do not appear, use Refresh Balance and then contact support. Apple controls App Store payment disputes and refund requests. A refunded or revoked transaction may remove the related credit or access. Except where law requires otherwise, unused consumable minutes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable between accounts.
7. Your conversations and private Library
The app may store encrypted transcripts, factual summaries, continuing memory, and private notes that you choose to save, as described in the Privacy Policy. A note or summary is AI-prepared user content, not a medical record, clinical assessment, revelation, or hidden divine memory. Review any draft before saving or exporting it. You retain your rights in content you provide. You give us the limited permission needed to process that content to operate, secure, and support the service.
8. Licence and intellectual property
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the service for its intended purpose. The service, software, design, branding, original artwork, and related materials remain owned by PRETTY GOOD - FZCO or their respective licensors. Scripture and other source material remain subject to their own rights and attribution terms.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to exploit, threaten, harass, impersonate, defraud, violate another person's privacy or rights, distribute unlawful content, attack or overload the service, bypass access or purchase controls, introduce malicious code, scrape protected systems, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it. You may not use the character to falsely claim religious authority over another person.
10. Third-party services
The service depends on third parties such as Apple and providers of hosting, authentication, speech, and AI processing. Their own terms may apply. We are not responsible for a third-party service outside our control, but this does not limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Availability, changes, and termination
The service may change, pause, or become unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, safety work, rights review, abuse, or release preparation. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every feature or character configuration will remain available. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated breach, unlawful use, fraud, security risk, or harm to users or the service.
12. Account deletion
Removing the app does not delete your account. You can permanently delete the account from inside the app. Deletion removes account-owned active records as described in the Privacy Policy, including the unused minute balance. Deleted minutes cannot be recovered. Account deletion does not itself create an Apple refund or delete an Apple or Google account.
13. Apple-specific terms
These Terms are between you and PRETTY GOOD - FZCO, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the service or its content and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. Where the Apple Standard End User License Agreement applies, its warranty, product claim, intellectual-property, compliance, and third-party-beneficiary provisions also apply. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the Apple-specific provisions against you.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available," without promises that every response will be accurate, suitable, uninterrupted, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PRETTY GOOD - FZCO and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity arising from the service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates and the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.
16. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms when the service, law, or our practices change. We will post the revised terms and effective date and, where required, provide additional notice. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. A delay in enforcing a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the applicable Apple licence terms form the agreement governing the service.
